This workshop is designed for those with some coiling basketry experience who are ready to take their basketry to the next level whilst creating beautiful wearable art pieces. Trudi is known and respected for her intricate basketry work and for the very first time she is offering this workshop, sharing her techniques and skills to creating fabulous jewellery. We will explore stitching techniques, such as spiral and figure of eight , and wrapping. Trudi will teach how to combine these techniques with the most luxurious of fibres from her own collection of silks, linens ,cottons and vintage threads. You will have the opportunity to create either pendants, earrings, and/or brooches. All materials will be supplied.
Please be aware previous experience of basketry coiling is needed. This could mean you have attended a coiling basketry workshop before or are self taught . If in doubt please get in contact. As we will be working quite fine it does require some dexterity too.

A delicious morning tea will be provided. BYO lunch or enjoy lunch from the gallery cafe. Trudi's classes are kept small, with a maximum of 8 students allowing for optimum tuition. Book early to avoid disappointment.
